We love video games.

So we decided to make one.

Video games have played a significant role in shaping us throughout our lives.

We gained a thirst for adventure and curiosity in massive game worlds. We learned lessons of honour and purpose through compelling narratives. We tested the limits of courage and hope when the odds were stacked overwhelmingly against us. Video games have given us more than we could ever have imagined.

At Brewed Games, we want to craft games that evoke similar experiences for people around the world.

Why did we start Brewed Games?

If you took the answers of the team and combined them, you could extract a common underlying ideology: We love video games and want to make them a larger part of our lives.

When the popularity of mobile games went through the roof, it was a pleasant surprise. It was awesome to see video games becoming more accessible to everyone. Suddenly something clicked — let’s share with the world all that we felt playing video games for so many years - joy, immersion, discovery, and utter satisfaction.

These powerful emotions form the soul of Brewed Games.

The Team

Yashaswi loves gaming and coding. Without his unique blend of gaming passion and coding prowess, Brewed Games would never have happened. Far from the stereotypical agoraphobe programmer, Yashaswi is a wanderer at heart. This adventurous spirit comes in handy when he has to prototype innovative game mechanics.

His favourite game of all time is World of Warcraft. Outside of work, he’s hugely intrigued by how the world works with Physics and Mathematics forming his main areas of interest. And now he makes in-game worlds work. Coincidence?

Prashanth is the Brewed Games fixer and Game Producer. Some (mostly his colleagues) say that he hasn’t yet encountered a problem he hasn’t solved. Which is no surprise considering the rate at which he learns new things. Have a problem in an obscure aspect of a vague concept? Just give Prashanth an energy drink and a couple of hours, he’ll be back with your solution. A king of all trades indeed.

His favourite game of all time is Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. Apart from games, he enjoys binging TV shows and movies and reading fantasy fiction.

Naveen was the kid who opened all his toys instead of playing with them. A habit he proudly carries to this day. He has an insatiable desire to know how a piece of hardware or software works and won’t rest till he figures it out. As Technical Artist, his curiosity helps him paint a clearer picture to make in-game scenes look spectacular.

His favourite game of all time is Need For Speed Most Wanted, though he loves getting into any good racing game. When he isn’t enjoying the speed of in-game vehicles, he’s savouring the wind while riding his bike. With a helmet of course. Safety first!

Mahesh tends to lose himself in his imagination, which works well for his responsibilities as a Narrative Designer, not to mention thinking up convincing ways to tell people how brilliant our games are and how their lives will be all the better for playing them. #Marketing. His love for writing is matched only by that of reading. And playing video games, of course.

His favourite video game of all time is Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. He loves all things RPG, be it a video game or a Dungeons ’n’ Dragons campaign. Maxing out his geek-o-meter, Mahesh loves fantasy fiction novels, the longer the better.
